Our latest course, led by Dr. Rob Wilson, InSport Education's academic director builds on some of our previous marketing courses. Marketing, a billion dollar business, has evolved since its first iteration at the Ancient Olympic Games in 7776 BC. The course is ground in academic theory, through to more applied modules across a range of topics and speakers, from fan engagement a key building block of any sports marketing strategy, a session with two former Olympians and at the end how you actually evaluate the success of any partnership or campaign.

Economics of Sport

Our latest course, led by Dr. Rob Wilson, Head of Department at Sheffield Business School will lead with a broad overview of the economics and finance of sport. The remaining 7 modules will be a combination of single speaker and panel sessions from thought leaders in the field, designed to deliver specific learning outcomes. The topics will include sport investment, comparing US and European models, new competition formats, future of fan engagement and more.

M&A in Football

InSport Education’s course on M&A in football comes at a time where football ownership is increasingly under the microscope, with deals for clubs across the world becoming more complex and with multiple stakeholders involved. The course will focus on a number of learning outcomes, taking students on the journey of buying a club, from identifying a club, through to regulation and delivering business success.
