Professor Rob Wilson

Academic Director, InSport Education

Rob is a leading sport finance expert and football business consultant. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the sport business sector and brings a wealth of experience as a creative educator. Rob specialises in financial reporting, management accounting and economic decision-making processes in sport organisations. Alongside his teaching interests, he has published 5 books and has a prolific media profile.

Dr Alexander Chrysanthou

Senior Lecturer, UCFB

Alexander is an experienced lecturer in Sports Law, with expertise in Cyberlaw, Human Rights, Mental Health Law, and Research Ethics and Evidence. He has designed academic modules, co-organized the Postgraduate Bioethics Conference, and coordinated the Small Business Clinic at the University of Southampton. His research focuses on the intersection of sports and medical law, with publications in leading journals and presentations at international conferences. He has worked as a legal consultant on data protection and contributed to the Hidden Law Makers Project, exploring graphical methodologies in medical law. Previously, Alexander worked on investment fund legal agreements and compliance at Old Mutual Wealth. He also serves as an external examiner.

Paul Musa

Associate, Onside Law

Paul is an Associate at Onside Law, a Tier 1 Legal 500 Sports and Entertainment firm, and has founded the Athlete Investor Summit. Alongside this, Paul has extensive knowledge of the football industry and hosts the What The Footie Podcast – a podcast that gives insight into the business of football. His podcast has featured prominent agents, executives, dealmakers, decision-makers and staff from clubs all around the world. Paul also sits on the Management Committee of the Association of Sporting Directors, an organisation with the aim of supporting, connecting, and developing over 900 global members and sharing insight into the role.

Oliver Weingarten

Co-Founder & CEO, Summit Sports

Oliver runs an athlete management business – Summit Sports – who represent athletes to provide them with the tools to generate peak performance, peak exposure and peak earnings. Oliver original career in law began as a trainee solicitor at Olswang, before working at the Premier League for 7 years in a general council role. From there he transitioned into a career with a focus on broader sports business including the commercial and broadcasting landscape. This is demonstrated by his roles at the Formula One Teams' Association, as Secretary General, before getting involved in Formula E, technology start-ups and esports, before moving back into a general council role at Boxxer, before founding Summit Sports in early 2024.

Aaryaman Banerji

Head of Football Governance, LCP

Aaryaman is a governance in football expert having worked at influential Westminster think-tank Civitas before joining Lane Clark & Peacock in 2023 as Head of Football Governance. Aaryaman focuses on helping clients adapt to the fast-evolving regulatory landscape in the football industry. In his role at Civitas, Aaryaman authored two extensive reports into the government’s plans to introduce independent regulation to the football industry, presenting his most findings to senior parliamentarians and industry stakeholders in The House of Lords. Aaryaman is a guest lectures on the topic of football governance on several university courses, and appears regularly as a media pundit on the same topic. He holds three Master’s degrees, including an MBA from FIFA.
