Caroline Rowland

Caroline was credited by The Observer as being one of the ten most influential people in bringing the Olympic Games to London, Caroline is a senior level business leader in sport and media. She has worked with the world’s most significant leagues and governing bodies from Street League Skateboarding to FIFA, and has been part of the England Cricket Board to create The Hundred. Caroline is the founder of egoli media, a first-to-market, proprietary AI-enabled video annotation technology which allows for real-time personalised delivery of video content.

Chris Ghent

Global Head of Brand Strategy and Partnerships, NEAR Foundation

An award-winning marketer and entrepreneur, Chris started his career launching an eCommerce retail start-up in 2005. In the marketing and communications industry, he has specialized in strategy first, digital-led, technology-powered, and data-driven initiatives. Delivering business strategies and marketing approaches that transform how companies go to market is his primary objective. Chris has worked with leading brands including Breaker (formerly SingularDTV), First Republic Bank, Harman International Industries, Infiniti Motor Company Ltd, Johnson & Johnson, Keds, Nielsen, Novartis, Prestige Brands, and Stanley Black & Decker. Chris has already spent three years in the crypto industry, previously leading the development of a US-based marketing team in NYC, which focused on global brand coordination and paid marketing initiatives in the Tezos ecosystem. He has been an advocate and early adopter of non-traditional blockchain based advertising solutions, partnering with Brave Browser from alpha to beta to mobile capabilities, and believes that traditional mediums like digitally connected out-of-home media will be key to mass adoption. In his role at NEAR he drives awareness of the NEAR brand and delivers awareness that the NEAR ecosystem is the home to crypto/blockchain innovation. He leads the relationship between NEAR Foundation and and SailGP.

Altug Ozturk

Director of Socios.com

Altug was born in Istanbul, Turkiy. He completed his high school education in Canada and Bachelor of Sports Management Degree at Griffith University in Australia, one of the top 50 young universities in the world. He then continued on to study MSc in Sport Management in Norway. In 2018, Altug launched Turkey’s first education-oriented blockchain project ‘KryptEd’ at Istanbul Technical University’s ‘Çekirdek’ Incubation Center. Altug is also the co-founder of Paratica.com, an algorithmic trading bot creation platform for digital assets. In addition to his ongoing blockchain and sports focused research since 2016, Ozturk has been consulting many international crypto projects and has been leading the sports fintech company Socios.com and Chiliz in the Turkish market since 2019. As well as being an active stakeholder of the blockchain world, Altug is also a licensed grassroots and youth football coach.

Daunte Crawford

Co-founder, Sports Head Originals

Daunte coms from a sporting background in football and athletics. He managed a number of gyms across the Northwest of England, and has worked worked top elite sporting athletes. Daunte now consults with VR sports and fitness start-up company, Rezzil ‘Player 22’. Daunte has successfully launched the current NFT-enabled project called Sports Head originals, SHOT, focused on building a sustainable community, integrating sport and lifestyle through SHOT

Timothy Mangnall

CEO, Capital Block

Tim began personally investing in cryptocurrency around seven years ago, and has successfully built Capital Block over the past two years into the most trusted consultancy in Europe for sports teams looking to enter the web3 space. Capital Block represents Tim’s two major passions: sports and cryptocurrency. Tim also has the same role at Capital Sports Media, which he joined in 2017 before carving out Capital Block. Prior to that he was Commercial Director at Premier Sports Network, the specialist sports and commercial agency to the sports and entertainment industries. Tim also counts leading the Retail Division at Clear Channel and Agency Sales at Amscreen Group as past roles. Tim and his team at Capital Block help sports clubs, brands, production houses, artists, celebrities and entertainers navigate the web3 space, taking in NFTs, the Metaverse, cryptocurrencies, and more. Tim personally advises a host of top European football teams, and his agency is the official NFT agency of major football clubs Galatasaray, AS Monaco, Trabzonspor, and Legia Warsaw. Sports teams look to Capital Block for NFT strategies, crypto consultancy, and blockchain partner guidance. For example, Tim has brokered sponsorship deals between BitGet and Galatasaray, and was trusted by Trabzonspor to advise them on which cryptocurrency marketplace to partner with.

Chris Chaney

Chris is an award-winning serial entrepreneur (Forbes 30 Under 30, among others) and startup mentor with a 15-year track record of leadership and success in the global sports, esports and gaming industries. A native of Germany, he is an active investor and start-up advisor with more than 40 portfolio companies in 10 countries across esports, gaming, consumer, media, blockchain and other verticals. Currently, Chris is the co-founder and CEO of Fancurve, a digital fashion platform using NFTs and the power of blockchain to bring people together around their passion for sports.

Peter is one of the original members of the Seven League team and has worked with UEFA developing digital strategies in over 25 different European countries, overseen the European growth and expansion of both the NBA and NHL brands through original content production, localised content and running social media channels in 14 markets. Peter comes from a consumer marketing background, having managed brands & delivered campaigns for Levis’, Paramount, Sony PlayStation & adidas. At The FA he moved into digital marketing, spearheading website, video and social media strategy, furthering his skills as Head of Digital for Bacardi. More recently Peter worked with FIFA on developing global fan communities and with Red Bull Racing to develop their NFT strategy.
